Was a good ride. Cracked a good pace and held on to the Ascot crowd till the first stop. Don't you guy's need water! Even then, still suffered from cramping near the finish.

Hey Pom. glad you got home ok. Heard there was some issues with trains.
Ronnie and I rode back together, well we got to the Eagleby Roadhouse and called a taxi. Ronnie had an urgent issue with his kids to attend.
Was hot and headwindy riding back, but not undo-able. I didn't fancy riding Logan Road on my own though.
My time was 2.50, av 35...though about 70% of that was done not drafting.
About 2km from the end, two guys went down in front of Grant and his dad Paul when traffic light went yellow and some guys grabbed the brakes. very nasty.
Well, what's next?! Alpine Classic 250 is in my sights.

Off topic for here, but I'm up for a few hills next time back. I'll e-mail you some dates, then if we have a mutually convenient weekend, start a new thread.
Yep, stuck in a parked train near logan for 20 minutes of so, then disruptions everywhere. Did have a good chat with a few blokes. All part of the experience.

Phil, emailed you what you asked about. Have a good trip back to PNG.
Peter B enjoyed Friday's ride and chat.
