Ascot Catering goes BUSH... Take II

I'm looking at next Sunday 8th of April for another try at the fire trail up to Nebo.
The Boombana Cafe is open at 8am so leaving from Highwood Rd(off Gap Ck rd) at 6.
A couple of the guys PaulD, BruceG? may come up the tarmac and meet us there for coffee and pancakes. The more the merrier.
PedroH, does Sunday suit?
So far - PhilM, BruceE, PedroH?, Shane and Katharine(Phils friends) are starters.
Don't forget adequate spares,cash, water etc,

I'm pretty sure I'm good for this. Kylie is doing a 60 Criterium running event at Glasshouse and Jed is doing a downhill skateboarding event at Noosa Headland on the same day. Need to coordinate some stuff. Will confirm soon.

6am start, will wait 5 mins in case anyone is running late.
Lyndell is riding up the tarmac to hopefully meet us at 8 when the cafe opens.

Hey Phil, bummer. I committed to Paul's ride last night. There's some bits I haven't done before so will be more novel than Mt Nebo Rd.
Will keep in touch on Sunday and see if a rendezvous is possible near the finish.

Apparently Mt Glorious Rd is open again. What time are tou guys doing pancakes and ciffee?

Aiming to get to Boombana Cafe at 8am, when it opens. Allowing about 2hrs up the fire trail with a couple of short stops(or long ones, if I'm suffering after today!!)
Are you thinking about incorporating it into your loop?

It's possible as it is 50km from Nundah to Nebo via Mt Glorious Rd, but will depend what anyone else who turns up wants to do.

Well, the back side of Glorious was pretty tough, but we had a nice day for it. And good coffee and company at the top.
