Hi group,

There is no racing this Saturday so a Samford ride is on offer.

SATURDAY

0600am - Ride to Samford (approx 80km)

SUNDAY

0600am - Ride to Wellington Pt ride (approx 85km)

Note: All rides now leaving from the old German Cannon at the Memorial Park, cnr of Buckland Road and Bage Street Nundah

PhilM and others are riding at 6am from the park in central Canungra, going up the Goat Track to Tamborine, then turn around and up to Binna Burra for breaky. It's such a great ride we're going back for seconds after doing it 3 weeks ago. about 4km 7-10% ascent to Tamborine, and 25k of 3-6% to BB.

It is a magical part of the world made even better in this perfect weather, and before the masses arise.
65km and around 1500 metres...look forward to seeing the descent video Phil.

Today's highlight was pacing Japan's women's multi triathlete champion Kiyomi Niwata out on a morning run under the watchful eye of elite tri coach Col Stuart. I think we all struggled to pass her on one of the rises close to Binna Burra.
