Weekend rides for Jan 19 - 20

Hi Group,

We had a good turn out last night for the fish and chip ride to Doug's in Sandgate. Approximately 16 riders turned up and enjoyed their tucker. Very busy, as it turned out, so we ate over the road by tables.

Here are the rides.

SATURDAY

0645am C grade racing at Nundah

SUNDAY

two rides are proposed.

0530am - hills ride with climbs to be decided on the day (approx 80 - 90 km.)

0600am - usual Scarborough ride (60km)

Option 1: for Tomorrow Morn Hill ride.. Meet at the Cannon at 5:30

Option 2:Hill ride.. Strathpine - Clear mtn - Samford valley - Mayfield rd - Mailman track - bunya rd.. .. Cannon 5:30.. so take off your Lycra skirt and ill see ya there!

Phil will be on a plane, I will be on a beach, PeterH will be having a big day out....hmmm...that leaves Scotty, BruceE, and Martin.

Of course, not starting at the break of dawn = skirt.

If I was going, I'd prefer Scotty's.....but....I'll be lying on a beach and having a surf. Think of that when you're climbing and it's 35+C.

Smithsr I did consider a route similar, but the ol man is coming up next weekend and I was guna save it till then. Not to say we ciuldnt do it this week and next week.

Just on a side note Im at downtown Nundah at the moment and its raining. Weatherzone says 90% 1-5mm of rain tomorrow and its also predicting that will be in the morn.. If its no good ill post here

What we ended up doing. We bailed on the last 30km today due to heat or was it tired legs after yesterday's points crit. Anyway!!!
