Nope.. Ill save the $ and go there after work... can even do it more than once.
If you wana do a good ride, save your money and go on one of 180s Northern NSW rides or Sunny coast rides!

Can't agree more GD, probably a bit safer too.
Won't be there anyway... Gonna' be in Melbourne to cheer Lyndell on at Ironman Melbourne.

Re: Mt Coot-tha Challenge
nope, done it 3x. tends to be chaos up the back, and downhill. hard to set a PR with all the Freds, who can be fast and unpredictable.
done enough Coot-tha ascents to last a life time. though one day I'd like to do get back for a sub 11:15. best is 11:45.
I used to enjoy Coot-tha Riverloops on the w/e, but then Phil showed me GC Hinterland and Tyalgum.
And I kind of prefer Wynn Rd to Clear Mtn.

First Time
I'm doing the 'Challenge' for the first time, so is Keith. Hope to break 12 mins and get in top 20 ladies. Best so far on practice runs is 12:24.
Cheers

Nearly Did It
Managed to do 12:05 and come 17th and 4th in age group so not too bad. Keith did 11:38 so I 've got a target!

Re: Mt Coot-tha Challenge
That's brilliant Jenni. Glad you achieved your goal of being top 20 overall....though commiserations on not breaking 12.....soooo close.
I am wondering what the three are that beat you take in the way of supplements
My best is 11:45, so Keith's 11:38 is an inspiration....to get me back in touch with the Bruce as lean as you two

Good luck with that Bruce. I get slower every year but I did have a good run off the top with a few PR's.
The extra kilos are great for descending.

true, but you don't tend to bounce as energy efficiently off the tarmac!
