Mt Coot-tha Next Weekend. Who's in?

So, how many are up for Mt Coot-tha next weekend?

I'll be back in Aus, and have just got my late entry in. Keen to find a few to ride with, but off the pace a little at the moment so not intending to set a blistering pace.

Should be interesting this year with the gateway crossing first and having the climb 1/3 of the way through the ride.

Maybe a meet at Toombul terrace for the ride in, but not wanting to make it all last minute!

Hey Phil. Had intended doing this til cracked ribs interrupted my training. Never mind.
This will give you some idea of times people do.



Will have to dig up 2011's info.

Results from last 5 years. Numbers yesterday were around same as 2009, and short of 2010.

6 minutes 30! Who climbs Coot-tha in that!

Can't say I was a fan of the new route. Certainly didn't help my times. A full minute slower than last year. Last year it was raining and I was on the old bike as well.

2010 - 12:53 (Never climbed Coot-tha prior)
2011 - 12:26 (In the rain, on the Star - thought I was fit enough to get into the 11:xx)
2012 - 13:35 (with the reduced riding and Xmas kilo's still hanging around)

Ah well, what's next - the Ipswich 100?
