Anybody got a bike for sale?

My son's girlfriend wants to buy a cheap bike. Any old road bikes for sale out there? She does not want to pay too much as she is new to cycling and just wants to see if she likes it.

If you go on HPRW's facebook page, and ask, you'll probably get swamped.
I've seen some guys give stuff away, just to make room for their new stuff.
You could also ask some of the girls who do HPRW races one Saturday.
Lynn Bridge and Anne Martineau would be worth asking too.
You could also ask Rob Heyman or Michael Frost to enquire about Shelley's. I'd guess it's gathering dust if not already sold.

You want to sort out size and type first. she mightn't like a roadie straight off the bat.

Thanks Bruce. Some good suggestions there. I could ask Ashley I suppose. I like the HPRW suggestion. Shelly's bike would be a bit expensive for someone who has never ridden before and doesn't know if she wants to get into cycling seriously. Re the road bike/flat bar type bike issue - that is what I was trying to avoid as it was the path I went down initially and it ended up costing me a lot more before I settled on a road bike. So I thought if she buys a roadie first up that would save her buying/accumulating a few bikes before she decides. But thanks for the ideas.
