Wednesday Afternoon Training
Hi All,
As Thursday afternoons are becoming busy with the Tri guys and Summer Series is coming up soon I thought it would be a good idea to have an extra race training session down at Nundah Crit Track.
This Wednesday 6th Nov at Nundah we will be doing some race training. (possibility to move to Tuesday's)
30 Minute sessions at race pace and maybe a few drills.. any other ideas welcome.
All welcome

Hey GD,
Will the sessions touch on 'track position' whilst training?

Hang on, just noticed the bit about iPods, that'll ensure "Stay left" is never heard!!

Hahaha.. no, no iPods..
but hopefully the track will be quiet so this won't be an issue.

Re: Wednesday Afternoon Training
hehe...the way I SAW it unfold....if you are able to blabber or are riding slower than Darren Croad, you are a feckless dkhd if riding within 2 metres of the inside edge of the track. nothing complicated about that...if 12yo girls can understand it, blah blah blah...

Re: Wednesday Afternoon Training
Great work everyone! Was great to see everybody out there yesterday grinding away, especially into that wind. Looking forward to it again next week.

Re: Wednesday Afternoon Training
GD, is this training for
A: attacks and successful breaks
or
B: sitting in for 45 minutes, then having a 100 metre sprint

Re: Wednesday Afternoon Training
What ever you like, different people are at different levels so hopefully what ever level they are at they get something out of it.
And if nothing else its a great team bonding exercise.
Oh and FYI i was on the edge of loosing lunch numerous times, so for me doing some repetitive sprints at the end put the cherry on top.. or maybe that was corn?...

no doubt a better approach to team bonding than low brow knuckle dragging denigration of team members behind their backs.GD wrote:What ever you like, different people are at different levels so hopefully what ever level they are at they get something out of it.

here's looking forward to seeing the team bonding transfer to the first AC team break, successfully held. It's what QSM and Coyote have been doing with smaller teams for years.
